Thanks for visiting my blog! It's where I share little family moments, creative projects, and random thoughts and impressions about life as a stay-at-home mom.
Leave me a comment while you're here. I'd love to hear from you!
Just yesterday, on tipnut.com, they had recipes for killing off ants. I think it was boric acid and something else. They had a couple of different methods. I get ants every spring. We've had so much rain that they haven't come out in full force yet, but I know they will!
Thanks for the great tip, Gina! I went to tipnuts.com and read up on the different methods. The soap method (plus one part Isopropl Alcohol) is recipe I used to launch an all-out ant offensive today. So far it has been quiet, but it hasn't rained yet. Waiting to see...
Leslie, I also took your VERY wise advice and sealed up anything and everything I could find that I thought might interest ants. They won't be finding an easy meal now. Let them eat cake somewhere else! :-D

I used to think that our condo was built on an anthill. Rubbermaid for EVERYTHING edible and then they disappeared after that...
