My friend Marty sent me this note:
"That tea pot is a depiction of a Chinese God named Shou Xing (Nan Ji Xian Weng), the god of longevity. He is a smiling old man with long white beard and a very high forehead. On one hand he holds a long walking stick and an immortal peach in the other. Anyone who eats it will be able to extend their life span by 600 years.
Drinking tea from it must help too!
